'Inspired by the Garden City movement established at the turn of the 20th century to combine town and country Garden City Seedhead living environments, Dee Hardwicke's new range of ceramic tiles for us fits perfectly with Fired Earth's philosophy of working, wherever possible, with artisan tile makers. Clean, fresh, richly coloured drawings of flowers, foliage and seed heads are set into grids and placed in rows, giving these contemporary tiles an architectural feel.

The urban setting of Dee's studio, together with the beautiful Welsh countryside that surrounds her home, combine in Dee's sketchbook to create a palette of colour, pattern and movement that is the Garden City tile collection.'
