• Paint Range

Fired Earth paint, created in association with Kevin McCloud, designer, author and leading authority on colour, is made in the UK from carefully selected pigments, minerals and resins specifically chosen for their qualities of opacity, density, light fastness and durability. Blended to produce a flat surface, which is wonderfully soft to the touch and that has exceptional coverage. Practical, hard wearing and a pleasure to apply.

  • Wall Tiles

The majority of our wall tiles are either handmade or at least hand-worked in Europe covering many styles from traditional to contemporary. Each has its own individual appeal, its own raison d'etre and most are exclusive to Fired Earth.

Our expertise, in tiles particularly, spans over twenty years in which time we have been fortunate to find and work with some of the world's most talented ceramic artists, studios and workshops. We are delighted to be able to offer you this truly original and unique resource. The acid test is to pick one up and see if you can resist it!

  • Floor Tiles

Stone cut from quarries the Romans knew, rich varieties of primaeval slate from Africa and South America, Spanish terracotta - all of them a direct link back to ancient civilisations that formed our world's architectural past.

More than two decades ago, (a pin-prick by comparison but an important pin-prick), we began our search for what we knew must exist and started to import these wonderful materials to create the foundations of our floor tile collection (and the expertise) which is still second to none.

For instance, recently we discovered a number of striking new slates, quartz and limestones, to add yet another exclusive seam of choice for you to consider. All this, combined with the advances made in ceramic tiles, their versatility and practicality, underline Fired Earth's pre-eminence in the floor tile market.

  • Kitchen Living

While the kitchen was once simply a place to prepare food, it's now become another living room, a place where people choose to spend time throughout the day. This trend towards kitchen living means that it is increasingly important to have a room that is practical, comfortable and great to spend time in.

Our freestyle kitchens are beautiful, handcrafted pieces that are individually superb and that collectively create a more flexible, enjoyable, extendable, work-friendly space. Combining these elements with our wall and floor tiles (and possibly an Aga!) will enable you to create an individual kitchen - a lasting investment and the heart of your home.

  • Bathrooms

At Fired Earth we believe that today's bathroom is more about relaxation than just keeping clean. It's about feeling good. The simple pleasure of your own space and the sheer unashamed enjoyment of quality.

Everything we do from baths, showers, wet rooms, basins, taps and towel rails is designed and made to be intrinsically satisfying. Superbly finished, engineered and built to last. The choice ranges from contemporary to classic with a gallery of fittings (and of course tiles) with which to create your own unique look.

So if it's time you had a new bath or a complete new bathroom come and talk to us about your ideas and your price range and our bathroom designers will be delighted to show you how good it can be.

  • Wood Flooring

One of the most dramatic changes to happen within British interior design has occurred in this last decade - wooden floors.

No other single home making decision can so radically and completely change the look of a room. The same piece of furniture that before sat indented into a carpet becomes renewed to the eye, as an object is presented in a gallery.

  • Handwoven Rugs

Each Tribal rug that we have instore is unique, no two are ever the same in colour or design, so a store visit is crucial. A great deal of care and time is invested in the weaving of each rug to express individuality through design - they are as much a work of art as they are floor covering. The rugs are woven by nomadic tribes as a traditional pastime and integral part of nomadic existence.
